LIP BLUSH HEALING PROCESS: Days 1–7 💋🍒💄✨

Day 1 – Your lips will look bold, bright, and likely redder than the chosen shade due to inflammation. You might think, “What have I done?!” — but don’t panic. Trust the process!

Day 2 – Swelling has gone down. Lips may appear slightly darker as they begin to dry out.

My lovely client came to me after a terrible experience with another artist around 4 years ago.

- No mapping was done & the blush has been over lined onto her facial skin (it’s common knowledge that you shouldn’t do this whatsoever)

- The artist practically told the client what colour she was having, with no real consultation about what she wanted to achieve

Lip filler is great for adding volume, however increasing the volume isn’t necessarily going to give you any extra definition! Especially if you over fill your lips as they will begin to migrate. Fluffy combination brows to create more symmetry✨

My lovely client had quite uneven brows & so she really struggled with them when it came to make up.
One arch was much sharper & higher than the other & then the opposite brow had less hair at the front than the other. The front of her brows also grew quite low down creating a bit of a hooked brow look.

With a bit of shape manipulation I was able to create a softer & more flattering shape which fixed the asymmetry issues & opened up her eyes.

1. Firstly this allows you to fully complete the treatment (1st session & top up) BEFORE any summer plans/holidays - ensuring your results are perfect before the time where you’ll want to show them off the most.
2. Secondly during the winter months most people generally spend more time indoors & aren’t holidaying meaning very minimal sun exposure. Staying out of the sun/not tanning is a crucial part of the aftercare during the healing stage.

For example - if you specifically want your new spmu to be fully completed for a holiday/any plans for the start of May, you would ideally need to book your first session for around the end of February📆

New year, new brows - Removing my clients old microblading (not done by me)⚡️⚡️

My client came to me wanting me to do her a new ombre brow, however we needed to remove the old pigment first as it was too dark & saturated to cover up.

If we were to attempt to cover this up now with an ombré brow - the colour would need to be darker & the shape larger. This would only lead to an even darker & more unflattering brow which would also heal very ashy as the colour is already quite blue/black.

We have seen an amazing result from just 1 session of laser removal but these brows needed a 2nd session to further lighten the pigment.

Laser SPMU removal is a really quick & simple method of removing your old brows, with very minimal downtime.
